Custom Denim

We are proud to introduce our MTM Denim, Five-Pocket & Chino’s Program

Denim has long held its place as a cornerstone of menswear. Originating in 17th-century France, the term “denim” comes from “sergé de Nîmes.” This strong cotton twill fabric made its way to the United States, where it became synonymous with durable workwear. We have worked both passionately and extensively on this new program from the fabric mills we work with, to the technical construction, to the ways we help you create the perfect fit, every detail is designed to empower you to deliver an outstanding product to your customers.

Our fabrics make use of Indigo, the colour that makes blue jeans iconic. It is one of the oldest dyestuffs still in use today. Its history stretches back to ancient Egypt, where indigo-dyed linens were found in pyramids over 4,500 years old. The plant-based dye creates a deep, rich blue that fades beautifully with wear; a defining characteristic of true denim.

Unlike our denim, which is dyed before being cut and sewn, our 5-pocket trousers undergo garment dyeing. The full garment is dyed after construction, giving it a lived-in, even tone. This technique produces subtle variations in colour from seam to seam, contributing to the individuality of each piece.
